What is the Sharing in Ministry Bishop’s Annual Appeal?

Sharing in Ministry Bishop’s Annual Appeal provides essential, annual operating funds that will directly impact the lives of people throughout the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth with programs, services and ministries that reach beyond the scope of any individual parish and are made possible by the collective giving of the faithful.

Since 1983, Catholics in the Diocese of Fort Worth have been invited to support diocesan ministries and programs through the annual appeal, Sharing in Ministry. During this time, more than $60 million has been contributed to the appeal to help support the needs of our diocese, which has grown to more than 700,000 Catholics and 90,000 households in 91 parishes and missions throughout the 28 counties.
