Session Topics

Stewardship in the Hispanic/Latino Community

With the importance of the Hispanic/Latino population, let’s explore ‘Why’ the concept of giving ‘Stewardship’ doesn’t make sense to the Hispanic/Latino Community.

Serving God, Serving Others

Disciples of Christ are called to serve Him and His Church, Miguel will share his experience with the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City and the Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine.

The World is Not Enough: Creating a Legacy through Prayer, Giving, and Service

(New! English Only)

We will review how the USCCB document Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response explores legacy through discipleship and stewardship, urging a shift beyond time, talent, and treasure. We will examine modern challenges, the impact of true conversion on parish vitality (Matthew 7:16, Romans 12:2), and how societal influences shape change. Jonathan will share practical applications of prayer, giving, and service to help strengthen our baptismal call to discipleship. He will question how we measure fruitfulness, emphasizing evangelization and innovation. Referencing Church teachings, Jonathan will challenge the “we’ve always done it this way” mindset. You will walk away with a call to action as an inspired disciple ready to leave a lasting legacy of faith.
