Save the Date for #iGiveCatholic 2026
Giving Tuesday, December 1!
This is a special opportunity to celebrate our faith and to show our gratitude for the many blessings we have received by supporting the organizations doing the Lord’s work in the Diocese of Fort Worth. All parishes, schools, ministries, Catholic organizations and apostolates are invited to participate in #iGiveCatholic on Giving Tuesday, December 1, 2026! If you’ve participated before, there are exciting changes to make this year’s Giving Day the best yet. If you haven’t participated, it’s time to join the ministries in the Diocese of Fort Worth that raised $926,443 last year. For everyone, there are more reasons than ever before to take advantage of this event on Giving Tuesday, December 1.
Why Should my Parish or School Participate in #iGiveCatholic in 2026?
- Your Local Support – In addition to the full resources offered by the national #iGiveCatholic organization, Patricia Gonzalez is your local contact for #iGiveCatholic. She is eager to assist you with strategies, developing your plan, and connecting you with all the resources available from #iGiveCatholic and the Mightycause giving day platform.
- Best Practices Guide – the Advancement Foundation has put together a simple guide on how to navigate the #iGC site as well as practical tips for a successful campaign.
- Guaranteed Matching Funds – The Advancement Foundation Board has already designated $75,000 in matching funds for organizations participating in #iGiveCatholic. The more you raise, the greater your share of these funds. (This is in addition to any matching funds your organization may secure.)
- Lower Transaction Fees for Credit Card Donations
- Your Giving Day Page will Be Available to You Year-Round! Use the page you create on Mightycause for any other special projects or fundraisers that come up throughout the year.
- Participating Costs Nothing – Although this has been the case since our diocese first became an #iGiveCatholic partner, it bears repeating that the Advancement Foundation pays the participation fee for each participating organization. This gives your parish, school or ministry access to the giving day platform, the graphics and promotional materials and the training and support!
