When Is Stewardship Sunday and Why Are We Celebrating It as A Diocese?
Stewardship Sunday will be celebrated in all parishes in the Diocese of Fort Worth the weekend of October 14/15, 2023.
Our Parish Already Has a Stewardship Program, Why Do We Participate in This?
This diocesan-wide event is an opportunity to teach about stewardship as a way of life and will complement any existing stewardship initiatives in your parish.
What Resources Are Available?
At a minimum, all parishes are asked to hang the posters that will be shipped to them, use the bulletin announcements/inserts/cover designs and general intercessions, and for priests and deacons to speak about stewardship in their homilies this weekend.
How Can My Parish Make the Most of Stewardship Sunday?
Parishes can enhance Stewardship Sunday by conducting Ministry Fairs or Prayer/Service/Generosity recommitments the same or adjacent weekends. You may use this effort to start a parish Stewardship Committee or to enhance the efforts of an existing committee. To learn more, join us for the training sessions below.
